iPhone 11 Pro Ultimate Review | is it worth the Upgrade?
it’s September and we all know that is a special month for iPhone Users apple just launched the new iPhone 11 pro and his big brother the 11 pro max but this year apple surprised us with 3rd iPhone named iPhone 11 that iPhone is supposed to replace the iPhone XR from last year
it came at exactly the same price of the XR but with new developments but we are not here to talk about this little one we are here for the kings so in this article, we will cover and review all the specs and hidden features for the new iPhone Pro and is it worth the upgrade or not?
Table of Content
when it comes to design we don’t have much to talk about and that’s of course because Apple didn’t change the design, the new iPhone 11 Pro and The last year iPhone Xs are very identical from the front but from the back, there are some changes noticeable!
you can’t see the back of this phone without noticing the black Square in the back it’s a big black square made to contain the new camera that we will cover later, some people didn’t like it but others did for me I think it doesn’t affect the design at all you will get used to it
The Phone comes with exactly the same materials and build quality covers by Gorilla Glass from the front and the back with stainless steel frame and weighs 188g it’s exactly the same Dimensions as the XS which is 144 x 71.4 x 8.1 mm and supports IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 4m for 30 mins)
The difference this year that the back of the phone comes with 2 types finish matte finish on the back and glossy finish for the camera square both covered with apple most durable glass Apple uses a custom version of Gorilla Glass on every iPhone and this year it might be Gorilla Glass
according to the tests, the new iPhone 11 Pro is more durable than last year’s iPhone XS also the new matte finish prevents the back for being scratched and leaves no fingerprints at all besides it looks beautiful, Apple is still sticking to the Lightning port even though we all know it is going sooner rather than later!
Same everything from the front the new iPhone 11 Pro comes with 5.8 inch Super Retina XDR OLED Display with 1125 x 2436 pixels (458 PPI) The Display covers 82.1% from the front, but here are some cool improvements on the Display this year first
the new screens are brighter at 800 nits and when necessary they can light up to 1200 nits. The XDR OLEDs also double the contrast from 1,000,000:1 on the XS models up to 2,000,000:1 on the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max so the new XDR screens are much brighter and offer double the contrast over the OLEDs we saw on the iPhone XS and XS Max
Not just the new Display is brighter and shows more contrast it Supports HDR10 and Wide color gamut and 120Hz touch-sensing but unfortunately the screen refresh rate is still capped at 60Hz but overall the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max OLEDs are currently among the brightest smartphone screens on the market.
it’s a new iPhone so it’s a new processor from apple this year iPhone 11 Pro comes with Apple A13 Bionic It has 8.5 billion transistors and is built on a 7nm+ process. The chipset is faster and more power efficient than the A12 The phone is incredibly fast and snappy there are no signs of lagging
Hexa-core processor with 2×2.65 GHz Lightning high-performance cores and 4×1.8 GHz Thunder efficient CPU cores
The Lightning cores are 20% faster, 30% more efficient
The new iPhone 11 Pro is considered one of the fastest smartphones on the planet right now thanks to apple good decision they switched to inhouse designed chips and that was probably one of the best decision Apple could make since the first iPhone the cooling system is nice and now the ship can handle more pressure
Main Camera :-
Finally, here we are reviewing the big black square in the back and now for the first time the new iPhone comes with a Triple Camera Apple has finally added a third camera to its wide+tele setup The camera in the iPhone 11 Pro is the strongest feature this year The main lens comes with 12MP, f/1.8 lens, optical image stabilization (OIS)
The second lens is the telephoto camera it comes with 12 MP and f/2.0 for 2x optical zoom over the main camera. The lens is now brighter than before at f/2.0, OIS is available, but there is no Dual Pixel AF like on the main camera
The new third lens comes with 12 MP, f/2.4 it basically the ultra-wide camera it’s perfect for taking more than one in the photo but there is neither stabilization or autofocus for this camera
The iPhone finally has its own night mode, which it turns on by default if it detects the need. You can toggle it on or off and you can also lengthen and adjust the time it takes to capture the shot. Apple did a great job with its night mode and it makes the iPhone 11 Pro a natural choice for low-light photography
Video Quality :-
The new iPhone can shoot 4K video at 60 FPS with an optical stabilizer that prevents the vibration of images and video and the camera has got a total score 117 according to Dxomark
Selfie Camera :-
The iPhone 11 generation finally brings an update to the selfie camera. It’s now a 12MP snapper, still coupled with a TOF snapper The selfies use Smart HDR and their quality is good, there is more than enough detail, they are sharp but not over-sharpened, with great dynamic range, and good but still a bit washed out colors
thanks to the new A13 chip now the images look great the processor is handling them well, iPhone 11 pro camera can record video at [email protected] and also 60 Fps but the dynamic range doesn’t look so good at 60Fps
Battery life :-
Thanks to the new processor that works with 7 nm technology The battery life this year is absolutely insane apple did a great job keeping the iPhone up for the whole day the battery is 25% bigger than last year iPhone and supports 10W wireless charging and 18W Fast charging it can charge from 0% To 50% in 30 minutes on the Max and To 58% in the Regular 11 pro
But a full charge needs at least 2 hours it’s long but the battery will last with you all the day with no any problems according to Smartviser Tests The Max can do about 21 hours of 3G calls, 15 hours of web browsing on a single charge, or you can watch videos for about 19 and a half hours.
The newest iPhones always comes with the latest Apple iOS, and that’s the case with the iPhone 11 series. They all run on the iOS 13 out of the box, though we received and installed the iOS 13.1 update on September 24.
The phone comes with 4GB of (RAM) which allows you to open several applications at the same time some of you may find that 4 GB of RAM is relatively small compared to Android phones that come with at least 6GB of RAM and up to 12 GB
But it is a little different in the iPhone because the iPhone is running on IOS and it does not need a large number of RAM like what Android needs so you have nothing to worry about you can see all the software changes at GSMarena also check out iPad Pro 12.9 2020 Review
Sound Quality :-
After the new updates, the sound has now become Dolby atmos like the Samsung Galaxy S9 phones it is a 3D sound that surrounds you from all directions the sound is good, clear and load
